One of the top wanton mee [egg noodle with shrimp dumpling] spots in Hong Kong, rivaling Mak’s Noodle[just opposite from Tsim Chai Kee on Wellington Street].
Surprisingly, there was no queue to be found outside of Mak’s Noodle, instead a long queue formed outside of Tsim Chai Kee. Mak’s noodle cost around 35HKD for a regular bowl of wanton noodle vs TCK’s 25HKD.
Will I Return O-Meter : Yes. I wasn’t a fan of the minced fish ball which had a slightly odd chinese herb taste. The sliced beef was too chewy for my liking. The wanton however, was enough to get me to come back.
