2 Michelin Star Dim Sum : Tin Lung Heen

Located on the 102th Floor of The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong, Tin Lung Heen : which literally translates to ‘Dragon in the sky’is touted to be one of the best dim sum restaurant in Hong Kong (if not in the world).

Booking is a must, and I was lucky to get myself a table by the window as I was an in-house guest at the Ritz-Carlton. I’ll recommend sending the concierge an email with your reservation request. First seating is at 11:30am, but in Hong Kong most guest are known to be fashionably, so if you are hoping to get a nice photo in the restaurant, just be on time.

Tin Lung Heen is most famed for their Barbecued Iberian Pork with Honey [316HKD] and you have to order at the very least a tasting portion.

Expect this to be one of the priciest dim sum meal you would have. A party of 3 with 10 dishes costing between 600-800HKD.

Soup Dumpling with Fish Maw in Supreme Stock [115HKD]
Baked Abalone Puff with Roasted Goose & Dried Bonito [138HKD]
Deep-fried Glutinous Rice Dumpling with Wagyu Beef & Coriander [90HKD]
Barbecued Iberian Pork with Honey [158HKD] – This is the half portion that is available on request.
Baked Barbecued Pork Bun with Almond Flake [90HKD]
Deep-fried Shrimp Paste with Black Truffle & Cheese [90HKD]
Deep-fried Turnip Cake with Bell Peppers in X.O. Chilli Sauce [90HKD] – another famed dish at Tin Lung Heen. Take home gift box are available during festive seasons.
Tin Lung Heen Half Peking Duck [448HKD]

I’ll recommend ordering the whole peking duck, the meat was a tad dry ( possibly due to the fact that they only roasted half the duck )

Will I Return O-Meter : In my list of top restaurants in Hong Kong.
