Top Japanese BBQ : Yakiniku Great

Yakiniku Great in Hong Kong is the first outpost outside of Japan. Serving up kuroge wagyu beef from Kanto region.

Omakase (Matsu) per person at $620HKD with a min of 2 order per table. It is the premium special menu with features 7 rare cuts of wagyu beef, inclusive of cheateau briand, misuji & chef kimura yaki. This is recommended if you want to try all the best cuts of beef that Yakiniku Great has to offer. Chef Kimurai Yaki cost $398HKD for 2 piece alone, so the omakase set is definitely most value for money!

Reservations recommended, they are very popular with the locals.

Beef Sashimi Sushi served as part of the appetizer [30HKD] Not negotiable, and not great.
(L) Shakushics, (R) Chateu Briand with Wasabi Soysauce, beef fat to butter up the grill.
For any thin slice, recommendation is to grill each side for 3 seconds.
Kimura Yaki with Egg Sauce 2 pieces at $398HKD – This is the best dish and the only dish I truly enjoyed. The homemade sauce with raw egg paired superbly well with the large thin-sliced beef. First, mix the raw egg into the sauce, grill up the beef, dip immediately into the egg sauce and enjoy!
As the beef used for kimura yaki is slightly fatty, recommended to grill a tad longer 4-5seconds on each side.
