Tori-shige is all about grilled beef & pork (not chicken surprisingly), seeing as tori actually stands for chicken. They do have two chicken dishes available, the chicken tsukune & the grilled pepper stuffed with chicken paste.
As you my know in Japan, many restaurants prefer sticking to traditional Japanese ingredients in their dishes. At Tori-shige, you will see the use of black truffle and caviar, which was what really attracted me to the restaurant in the first place.
Their Ginza outpost is actually a one-michelin starred restaurant in Tokyo Michelin Guide 2016. So I expected high quality food, which they met the mark.
