Imagine dining in an industrial like setting. Bincho is a yakitori restaurant hidden within Tiong Bahru estate. Enter from the back door entrance (carpark) or the front(yes..walk through the kopitiam selling ba chor mee).

There are three types of dinner set menus at Bincho and while the menus changes frequently depending on what is available on the day, it always revolves around the main star of the restaurant, tori (chicken). An à la carte menu is also available to try out some of Chef Asai’s other specialities.

Donburi sets range from $25++ to $45++
(includes appetizers, salad, pickles, karage, soup and dessert)

I’ll really like to come back for dinner and try their cocktails, they are only available at night when their mixologist is in the house.

Entrance from the carpark, which was literally missed by all myself and my friends.
Limited table seats. Would recommended booking in advance.

Chicken Skin Salad which was part of the lunch set

Grilled Sansho Wings

Chicken Karaage (part of the lunch set)

Grilled Chicken Necks

Smoked Octopus
Tsukune (Chicken Meatball) served with Raw Egg

Wagyu Omu Curry Rice Set [S$45]
Beef Tongue Don Lunch Set [S$35]
Aburi Dori Oyako Don Lunch Set [S$35]
Uni Cream Udon Lunch Set [S$45]

Grilled Scallop with Sea Urchin
Matcha Tiramisu (part of the lunch set)
Uni Pudding with Cloudberries – this is actually a dessert !!! and surprisingly good.

Will I Return O-Meter : Possibly. But I thought for lunch, the pricing was a little “premium” for their location and food quality.
